Q.Amaryllis

Anonymous added on March 28, 2014 | Answered

I have an amaryllis that just finished blooming after 9 flowers. I have never had one like this before. There is a seed pod on it. My question is how do I get it to rebloom and what do I do with the seed pod?

Most people cut the seed pods off. You can plant the seeds, if you want, but it will take several years before they form a proper bulb and start to produce flowers. This article will help with getting them to rebloom: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/ornamental/bulbs/amaryllis-hippeastrum/amaryllis-bloom-again.htm
