Alternate Fertilizer for Citrus

I have some extra ornamental/shrub fertilizer and would like to use it on on the citrus trees I have. Any reason not to use it? I know it is not as beneficial, but will it help?

It will help and be fine for the tree. The citrus fertilizers tend to be higher in acid, but that is not essential to the health of the plant.
