Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comI have alstroemeria plants in pots and they blooms and then they stay green until next season and then multiply and bloom again. I bought two plants at nursery they bloomed, tall about 12″ I pulled out dead stems as usual from base but then the plants have just disappeared Is this possibly an annual? I was told it was a plant from Australia. I’m lost. I was hoping it would continue to multiply. I’m afraid to dig around. Suggestions Please.

This is a Perennial, but they will succumb to overwatering quite easily. This is likely the case, here.
If they do not come back, then they will require a fresh planting.
