Aloe Vera Plant

my aloe vera plants are like trailing and drying off between plants clusters. they also have come out of dirt and have no roots on the end. They look healthy but I’m sure they need a root base? Can I replant these pieces afraid my plant is going to die. do I put them in water to grow roots on end then plant like I would root other plants?

Don’t put them in water to root them. Succulents actually need to dry out to root. I put mine in or on a tray of sand. This article may help
