Aloe plant dying

I have had my indoor aloe plant for over 10 years. It has been watered once a week its entire life. However, the tips of some of the leaves are beginning to yellow and die. In addition, there is a white mold around the edge on the surface of the soil. The soil is dry. Should I scrape the mold off the surface of the soil or replant/repot? Any insight you could offer would be much appreciated. I don’t want this plant to wither because I have had it for so long!

Thank you

Your Aloe Vera plant may need repotting and some new soil.
I would also treat the plant with Neem Oil. This will take care of any insect or fungus problems. It is safe for people and pets.
Make sure your checking the soil before watering. It should dry out completely before watering again.
