Alstroemeria , Zoe , Bought Last Year, Growing Well But No Flower Buds At All?

The plant is growing well with lovely foliage but not a flower bud anywhere on it. Should l treat it with something?

This could be a case of having too much nitrogen in the soil! I would test to be sure.
