Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comI have dozens of mountain laurel on my property, lakeside in upstate South Carolina. What is the age limit of this plant? These are quite old and not in great shape. I am wondering if I need to remove them and start new.

The consensus seems to be around 75 years. You may want to gradually replace them, just a section at a time. This article will help you to care for these shrubs: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/ornamental/shrubs/mountain-laurel/mountain-laurel-growing.htm [1]
