Agave Attenuata Bottom Leave Yellow And Curling

I have a agave attenuata on my balcony which gets plenty of sun and we water it whenever the soil is dry however the bottom leaves are turning yellow and curling.

I don’t know if this is what happens with older leaves as the plant ages. The new leaves are green and look very healthy.

It can be due to age, but this is not the case here. This plant will need fertilization- quite often.

These are semi-heavy feeders, and will require moderate fertilization with a liquid 20-20-20. At least once per month during the active growing seasons.
