Agapanthus

I have 4 good plants which I put 2 in cold greenhouse and keep 2 in conservatory cold over winter..they have got twisted stems to the flowers some curving almost in a circle, some heads are big with short stems. Some with stems about 1.5 inches thick! Two have 19 flowers so I am not worried just wondering what has caused this, sitting looking at them they almost look as if it is two stems fused into one but wonder what causes this and why some are so twisted
Hope you can help

Watch for mealybug, which causes stunting and twisted leaves.
Divide plants in Fall.

Use Neem Oil to treat pests.
