Q.After transplanting a Palm, some roots have been cut; how often must you water it ?

Zone South Africa in the Gauteng region. | Anonymous added on October 17, 2020 | Answered

The tree was removed from where it was planted for making way for a house extension. Now I have transplanted it to another area but the tree is big, and now I notice some leaf branches are dying. I think I might be giving it too much water or too little water. Please advise I do not want to lose the tree.

There is no mention of the specific kind of palm this is, but here is general information that should help.

It is probably dealing with transplant stress as well. If your climate is dry, water your tree well once or twice a week until it begins to show signs of health again.
