I transplanted a tree last fall and it hasn’t got leaves this year yet. Does that mean it didn’t take

This depends on the conditions at planting time. It also depends on your area, and the specific tree. Can you include more information about your area, climate zone, type of tree, and any other information. Include pictures if possible, and it will help me to see what’s going on.
