Q.After Pruning, The Wide Pampas Blades Are Curling. Should I Cut Them Off Or Leave Them Alone?
Several years ago I cut my pampas grass very low and regretted it. The plant did not fill out again until August. After 3 years of no pruning, I cut it back to 20 inches. I have wide pampas blades that are curling. I see in your pruning pictures, there are also wide blades curling. What should I do? Do I cut off the curling part or leave them alone ? I have observed the thin blades grow out of the thin brown blades. What happens with the wide brown blades?
