Q.After Pruning, The Wide Pampas Blades Are Curling. Should I Cut Them Off Or Leave Them Alone?

Several years ago I cut my pampas grass very low and regretted it. The plant did not fill out again until August. After 3 years of no pruning, I cut it back to 20 inches. I have wide pampas blades that are curling. I see in your pruning pictures, there are also wide blades curling. What should I do? Do I cut off the curling part or leave them alone ? I have observed the thin blades grow out of the thin brown blades. What happens with the wide brown blades?

You can leave the curling leaves. It shouldn't affect the regrowth. Here is more:
