Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comWe recently flowered Asiatic lilies and got some lovely colored flowers. Now after the petals have fallen off we do not know if we should prune the plants below that stem and if we do that, will new flowers bloom ?

You can cut down the flowering stalk but leave the foliage till it yellows and completely dies back on its own. The bulb gets its nourishment from the leaves. Asiatic lilies only bloom once per season. The bulbs will multiply and you will get more blooms that way.
