Q.Advise On Chemical Fertilizer

Official Gardener added on February 26, 2021 | Answered

Hello, Greetings! I am having a small balcony garden and particularly interested in flowering plants. I currently have the following plants: Hibiscus, Dianthus, Gazania, Gaillardia, Jasmine, Vinca and other showy coleus varieties. I wanted to know which one of chemical fertilisers would be the best for heavy flowering? https://www.iffcobazar.in/en/fertilisers/water-soluble-fertilisers.html Thanks

For an all purpose fertilizer you can use something like 20-20-20 or 10-10-10. You don't want to overfertilize, which can burn plant roots.

If you are using commercial potting soil in your containers, you may not need any additional fertilizer. Many already contain fertilizers that can last 3 to 6 months.

I couldn't open the link you provided, but we don't make vendor or product recommendations.
