Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comI have an acer tree that has very dark red leaves. It flowered pink flowers in spring and Aug/Sept it bore a dark red grape-like fruit. Could you please tell me what type of acer it is, and do I have to prune or feed it in spring?

there is a line drawing of maple (acer) blooms and seed pods about a quarter down in the article at this link: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Acer_rubrum [1]
All maples have seeds and blooms like this.. I suggest that you take samples of both leaf and fruit to your local agricultural extension office for identification and recommendations on care and feeding.
