Q.Acer Tree Not Looking Too Healthy
Good morning, I hope you can assist with my question,. We have lovely Acer tree very large, but we think it is not very healthy. Can you please advise on anything we can do to revive it. Many thanks

Is the vine behind it preventing sun exposure on the midsection of the tree? Those white spots could be powdery mildew, a fungal infection. Too much shade can cause it. Also, the brown leaf edges are concerning. That could be too little water or another stressor such as verticillium wilt, which is serious. Also, brown spots could be fungal leaf spots, which aren't usually a problem. Clean up any fallen leaves that might carry the disease into next spring.
