Q.Acer Plants
We have over the years not been able to grow either red or green acer plants. These have unfortunately died. We’ve kept them out of direct sunshine and away from winds but the leaves have tended to shrivel up. We have tried to grow these in terrecotta planters. Any advice as we do like these plants very much. Thank you.

Make sure you're using fresh soil, and plantjng in pots with plenty of drainage. I wouldn't use terracotta, which are porous. They are better for succulents or plants that need to dry out quickly. Terracotta pots need to be watered more often so that might be why your trees didn't make it.
