Q.About My Weeping Cherry Tree
My weeping cherry tree had black grubs on the leaves I think there black fly.? I put a mild dishwashing deleted and they died all my leaves dropped of and now there no leaves? Is my cherry tree still ok.? I would love your feed back. It looks very healthy It here than no leaves.

Did you dilute the dishwashing liquid? The most one should use is 5 tablespoons (100 ml) per gallon (3.8 liters) of water; 2 tablespoons (40 ml) is ideal. More than that can damage ornamentals, which may have happened here. Also, spraying when it is hot outside also can damage plants. Best to spray in early morning or evening.
Your tree may leaf out again. You can tell if the branches are still alive by scraping off some of the bark. If it is green below, it is still alive. It is now a waiting game now to see if it leafs out. Make sure the tree is properly watered and fertilized while it is healing. Here are its care requirements:
