a question about a fig tree

I have a fig tree that lasted (sort of) inside for about 10 years. All it did was contract some sort of disease (?) where the leaves dried up and fell off. I put it outside last fall because I was tired of looking at it. It is now lush and beautiful. I’m not sure what I did right, but now I’m selfishly wishing for fruit! Any suggestions? I did give it some Epsom salts when I was feeding it to my Kaffir lime. HELP.

I am glad to hear that your tree is now thriving. It could be that the tree simply did not have suitable growing conditions while indoors. Adding phosphorus-rich fertilizer, or bone meal, to the soil can help with fruiting.
