Memorial Rose

My family would like to plant a rose bush in memory of my father who passed away recently. We would like something fragrant that will flourish each year. The garden is south facing with good soil, as dad grew his own vegetables and fed the soil regularly. Can you help us?

There are many rosebushes that would certainly fit this need. Some nicely fragrant rosebushes I can recommend are: Mister Lincoln – hybrid tea -Red color, Fragrant Cloud – hybrid tea – orangeish, Double Delight – hybrid tea – white and red blend, Love Ya Dad – red miniature rosebush ( three or four of these spaced about a foot apart would be awesome), Bella ‘roma – hybrid tea rose – beautiful blended white-pinkish red, Sunny Days – floribunda – yellow. Just to name a few.
