Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comHi I would like to know with a bud graft say 9 inch cut it and try to root it as a cutting, what rootstock would the cutting be on. Thanks.

It would depend on the type of tree. You have to stay within each Genus to be able to graft. Such as, apples can't graft to oranges, and so on. So, it will depend on the tree that you intend to graft.
