Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comI have an indoor two trunk pony tail palm that is about 6′ tall. Last fall both stems got a fungus at the top where the new leaves form. I treated them and cured the fungus, but one of the trunks was worse than the other and basically died at the top. The trunk remains alive below to the root but there is dead trunk material at the top. What is the best option to get the trunk to send out another shoot from the top of the trunk.

It will not grow from that point on the trunk.
