Q.Why crepe myrtle leaves turning yellow?

Jeb added on July 30, 2012 | Answered

Newly planted crepe myrtle is flowering but lower leaves are turning yellow. Is this due to water needed or too much water? Or is it typical of this time of year?

Your tree is probably just experiencing shock from planting and is normal. Newly planted trees need lots of water for the roots to establish. These articles should help: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/ornamental/trees/tgen/watering-newly-planted-tree.htm
