Prune tulips

How do you prune tulips? I just planted tulips the other day and now the leaves are yellow. Don’t understand why.

Do not cut the leaves. It sounds like the plant is suffering a bit of shock from transplanting. Generally, this will right itself once the plant acclimates to its new surroundings. The leaves may die back but the bulbs should be fine and will regrow.
