Yucca Growth

After last winter killed of all the above ground growth of a yucca, it has now grown many new shoots from the base. When is the best time to select the best ones to regrow and replace the old stems?

When it comes to selecting full grown pups (i.e. offshoot growths that have fully developed roots systems), spring is your best time to do this. Early fall is a good second choice, if you need to give teh offshoots more time to develop roots.
