Watermelon Problems

Question

I grew watermelons this year, great yeild and healthy looking. When looked ripe and sounded ripe, however, they were white inside and had no flavor. What did I do wrong? I live in New York state, 20 mins. north of Albany. Please email me with help to my question.

This can be caused by a lack of water while the fruit are developing. In the future, increase water to the plant, particularly while the fruit are forming.
