Q.4-Year-Old Wisteria Never Blooms

I purchased the vine from a nursery 4 years ago. It is huge but never has bloomed. It gets late morning sun through evening. I have been told some don’t bloom for 3 years but am starting to wonder. I live in northern Va.

There are several reasons for a wisteria not blooming, but the most common is too much nitrogen. I would recommend trying root pruning to see if that will jump start it. This article can give you some other ideas too:
