1 month old hibiscus plant

I received a good root of my daughter’s hibiscus plant (which is several yrs old). Put it in a pot with good plant soil. It is doing well with several new shoots, BUT the most recent new leaves are curling under on the edges. It has been in the 80-90 degree range of temps, but I have kept it out of direct sun and have watered a little every day. Is there something I should do for it? Appreciate your help.

I would try giving it even more water. While it looks healthy, anytime you move a plant, its root system gets severely damaged. It can’t take up as much water as it could before. So, until it regrows those roots and especially in high heat, where it is losing even more water than usual, it needs lots of water.
