I had three operations last year and my garden got over run with johnson grass . i I have preen and i was wondering if i can use it in my garden. if so when and how much to use. john t.

March 6, 2019A.Preen is a brand of weed control products. There are different formulations. If you are referring to Preen Garden Weed Preventer, it is for control of broadleaf weeds and not grasses. It will not be effective for the Johnson grass.

Preen does list Johnson Grass as one of the targeted weeds.

Any Monsanto product should be banned, including Roundup which causes cancer, kills earthworms, and more. An evil company. Scott's is now part of and their products should be boycotted as well

As long as you follow instructions on the package and use the product with the utmost of common sense, then none of them will pose a serious threat to anything.
If you make your own instruction, like many do, then you will be risking, your own health, along with others in your area, and causing environmental issues as well.
As long as you use everything according to the instruction, you should run into no issue.

May 1, 2019A.There are both positive and negative reviews for corn gluten meal. It appears to stop newly germinated plants from developing roots but not affect older plants. Seed should not be sown for 6 weeks although check the specific product's information on the container. Both timing and weather are crucial factors in success with corn gluten meal.
