Which rosemary species is recommended as box hedge substitute?

Need to know if rosemary can withstand high heat, +90F and in full sun. I live in Florida, so my yard gets very sunny and hot.
Yes, rosemary is known as a heat-tolerant and sun-loving plant. The only issue would be if you have poor drainage so that your yard stays wet for extended periods, which rosemary might not like (see the article below). Otherwise, it should do fine in your garden.

Some of my Rosemary leaves are curling downwards and leaves turning brown at the tip randomly. Should I be worrying? What it is that my Rosemary is lacking off? I placed my Rosemary at the balcony and as my apartment is facing north i am having trouble finding long hours of direct sunlight. My plant is about 6 inch height now. Would I be able trim it? If yes, how many inches is advisable for me to trim it back?
One of the biggest reasons for Rosemary plant failures is over watering.
Make sure you are allowing the soil to dry out before watering. I think the description sounds as if the plant is overwatered.
Try to provide as much sunlight as possible.

This year, I grew Rosemary, harvested, and dried the sprigs. I just went to pull off the leaves from stems and notice that all the leaves are covered with a white fuzz. Upon harvesting, my plant did not have powdery mildew or at least I thought it didn't. Is this dried Rosemary inedible? Dusty? I am trying to give the dried herbs away to friends and need to know asap, please. Thanks for your time, Angelica
Your Rosemary appears to have mold on the needles. It may have been to damp to dry properly.
I would dispose of the Herb that has any signs of mold on them.

We have some dead branches in the interior of our rosemary bushes and would like to rejuvenate them. Should we prune them really hard and cut out the dead stuff? Suggestions?
Yes, you can certainly prune any dead branches.
It's difficult to know what caused them to turn brown without actually seeing your rosemary bush, but, most of the time, the cause is poor soil drainage and inadequate sunlight.
Right here on GardeningKnowHow there is an article on rosemary: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/edible/herbs/rosemary/brown-rosemary-plants.htm
I received a Rosemary topiary that I'm keeping indoors till spring (live in Michigan). It's in a sunny window and I water it once a week. It was beautiful at first, but now all the leaves are dried. I added water when I saw it was drying, but to no avail. It's in a small pot - could it be potbound? Any suggestions on reviving it? Thanks, Mary Ann
It can be difficult to keep a Rosemary growing indoors during the winter months. They need a lot of strong sunlight--6 to 8 hours each day.
They are very sensitive to watering issues. It can be difficult to fine the balance of too much or too little.
If the stems break and snap, the plant has likely died. If they bend and are still green inside, there is still a chance.
Increase light, find a cool location and even a humidifier can help this fussy Mediterranean plant.

We planted 12 rosemary plants in the spring of last year and they were thriving. We live in the Poconos and they were really green up till about two weeks ago. They turned brown and lost the needles. Are they dead?? can we revive them? The weather has been cold. Thanks Rich
You live in growing zone 5b. Most Rosemary is hardy in zones 7-10, with a few cultivators able to survive in zone 6. If your temperatures drop below 30 degrees F, you will need to winter your Rosemary indoors.
