I have a variegated dwarf lemon tree. The fruit is yellow but round. It does not have much juice. What is it? I call it lemon because that's what the tab says. It smells like a lemon but it is very bitter.
Yes, this is a Lemon Tree variety likely the Eureka Lemon.
The tree will produce a few lemons when it is young and more when it reaches the age of 4 to 5 years.
The fruit will be green with gold stripes when young and matures to a pale yellow.
The Lemons you describe are immature and need more time to ripen.
The tree prefers 8 hours of sun per day and protect it from cold and wind.
All citrus need evenly consistent watering.

We have moved a grafted lemon tree recently only to find the host side has died but the grafted side is very healthy. Will this bear fruit or should we start again with a new plant?? Please advise.
You certainly could still have a fruit bearing tree.
Give the tree adequate water and fertilizer.
I would certainly give this tree a chance.
Remember that you have restarted this trees fruit bearing timeline with transplanting. It may be another 3 to 5 years for you to see fruit.

It's overwintered in bathroom and 8 months old. I fertilize w/fertilome for citrus (1 tsp) and organic fertilizer spray on leaves (ladybug). When it was younger, leaf damage from overwatering. I pinched new growth from top, which produced 2 new limbs and pruned a couple leaves. I would like to know if top will grow back?
No, the top will not leaf out again.
Let the seedling grow freely, unless you have a branch that strays or you are trying to maintain a certain shape.

My indoor lemon tree leaves are losing color and are falling at a high rate. What is the cause? It started about two weeks ago and it is not stopping. Thank you.
Sudden leaf drop can be due to insects, disease, excessive fertilizer or root rot due to over watering.

The leaves on our lemon tree have turned yellow. We are in Phoenix, Arizona. What would be the problem? It is an established tree.
Yellowing leaves could indicate a watering issue, to much or to little.
It also can be due to disease or insects.
