I have a gorgeous tropical hibiscus that was blooming wonderfully; however, we recently moved and although it's still developing spectacular flowers, I have noticed a large amount of immature buds dropping and can only speculate that this may be due to the large number of birds, particularly robins, or the hornets that are gathering pollen from the underdeveloped buds. Could this be the case?
This is likely caused from your recent move and the plant is simply reacting by dropping the buds. This will correct itself. I do not believe it is from birds or hornets. As long as the plant is healthy looking otherwise, I would not be too worried. If, however, you begin seeing other symptoms, such as leaf yellowing or wilting, you may have an issue of concern--like pests or fungus. If this should be the case, neem oil is normally an effective treatement for both.
The plant and buds look just fine and at about the time the bud should open, it falls off. I have had only about 8 - 10 blooms and about 25 to 30 buds fall off.

One of my hibiscus plants keeps getting yellow leaves. It is planted in a pot with a few other plants. I try to keep it moist. Am I over-watering/not enough water? It was doing fine until about a week ago.

I don't know if the Hibiscus plant is tropical or not. . . purchased at Lowes without an information tab on it. It's growing in a large container. About 50+ buds have fallen off without blooming. I found and removed a small green worm once. No more. Thank you for any information.
It could be a number of insects causing this to happen, but thrips or gall midge are the most common pests that affect the buds. These articles may help: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/ornamental/flowers/hibiscus/hibiscus-flowers-hibiscus-blossoms-falling-off-plant.htm
