Last summer I received a Calla Lily that was purchased from a grocery store. After it bloomed and the blooms died, I cut the dead flowers off. Since then I've kept it in the pot in a window. This spring it started to sprout new stalks of leaves but all they do is to grow super tall green leaves that fall over. I live in Fort Collins, Colorado so I'm not sure if I can plant them outside. I'd love them to bloom again but not sure if they will being from a grocery store vs. a nursery. Previous owners of our home planted a grocery store hydrangea outdoors, and while the plant comes back every year, it never creates blooms, hence my hesitation to plant the calla lily outside. I would be grateful for any suggestions on what to do with the lily, and the hydrangea for that matter. Thank you.
Calla Lily can be placed outdoors either in pots or in the ground. If you live in a zone 8 or warmer garden they can stay in the ground year round.
If you live in a colder climate you will need to winter indoors.
The drooping plant can be due to a few reasons; including watering issues or lack of nutrition.
These articles will help you pinpoint the issues and refresh you on the care requirements.

What is the bumpy seed type fruit that forms from the bloom after blooming? Can I plant it?
Yes, the fruit contains the plant's seed and you can plant it. This article will show you how:

I have a full healthy batch of Calla Lilies in my flower bed but they are no longer blooming. In the spring and early summer, they did great at blooming, but for the past month or so they get the initial trumpet look but do not color. I live in Oklahoma and believe the zone number is 7. I have never taken them up since planting them about 3 years ago. Any help would be appreciated.
It is likely that your calla lily simply considers itself done blooming for the year. Each calla typically only blooms during a set period of the year and then focuses on producing seed and storing energy for next year.
Why are the leaves on my Calla Lily all curled up inwards?
I would inspect your plant closely for an insect infestation - sounds like you might have aphids. For more information on aphids, please visit the following link:

I received a potted calla lily for Mother's Day. It had a couple of flowers then but it's not made any new ones since. It's still in the same small container. I live in WI so not a time to plant outdoors now. I'd prefer to keep it as a houseplant. What's the best way to make it 'blossom' in the house?
Calla Lillies need plenty of sunlight, watering and fertilizing to bloom.

Wat do I do when the foliage starts to die? Can I cut it off?
no...they must be left on the plant in order to feed the bulbs that are under the dirt...when the leaves are all yellow or brown (dead) is when you can cut them off....the bulbs need to rest about 6 months. then they can be watered to grow leaves and bloom again....b
In the center of the dying flower appears this tubular blob thing that fills the whole inside. What is it?
Your Calla Lily has formed a seed pod.
