I am wondering if I should yank out my broccoli plants now that I have harvested the heads? Will they come back next year if I don't?
Once you harvest, you can leave them in the ground and get a second harvest. It will grow like small heads on the side of the original head. You can get about a half head's worth of broccoli this way. But other than that, the broccoli is done and will not grow a full head again, and therefore can be removed.
Two years in a row now my broccoli plants are being killed by grubs. This year I planted in a different part of the garden then last year. The grubs killed them again. How can I prevent this from happening?

What are the yellow flowers on a newly planted broccoli plant and should they be cut off?
Your broccoli has bolted. Unfortunately, once it flowers, it does not taste very good. Here is some information on how to stop it from bolting in the future: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/edible/vegetables/broccoli/bolting-broccoli-growing-broccoli-in-hot-weather.htm

Do I pull broccoli plant after cutting head?
You can. If you leave them in the ground, you will be able to harvest "mini-heads" of broccoli (a little like broccoli rabe) that will be eventually the equivalent of about a half head of broccoli. Or, you can pull them now and start a new plant there. Either is fine and which you do just depends on what you would like from that space.
I have Broccoli that is bolting. What do I do? Do I pick off the flowers, cut something off, or just let it go and hope to get some broccoli? This is my first time growing broccoli.
Unfortunately, once broccoli bolts, it quickly becomes inedible. This article will help you with planting it in the future:

Where exactly are you supposed to cut the broccoli plant when havesting, and what is the best way to store fresh broccoli before eating?
You can cut it a few inches below the crown. It is best to store it in a cool, more dry place, like the vegetable drawer in your fridge.
I harvested my broccoli heads and put them on my kitchen counter to use in dinners throughout the week. The broccoli got soft instead of staying firm, still edible but droopy-like. Is there something I should do to it to make it retain its firmness? Also, any tips of freezing it?
Before freezing, the broccoli will need to be blanched. For ease of cooking, we would recommend that you chop them. After blanching, spread them out on a cookie sheet and then freeze them. Once they are frozen, you can put them in storage bags and keep them in the freezer until you use them.
