What is the best thing to get rid of weeds under your blackberry bushes? (For 70 year old people)
We bought a blackberry plant and it had a few blackberries in bloom. After a week, it started turning brown even though I watered them daily. I don't want it to die. What can I do? It looks brittle.
How is the soil? Is it draining well? Make sure the soil is moist but not soggy.

How to get rid of blackberry and other vegetation growing between two fences and keep it out. Approx 6" between fences.
Pulling and digging up the unwanted plants is the natural way to deal with the issue.
If this is not practical, you may want to resort to chemical treatment with a Herbicide.
You will need to follow the directions on the particular product that you use.

Planted 3 weeks ago. Have some new growth but leaves turning yellow and end of beaches turning dark...looks dead. We have had a lot of rain in last month. What should I do? Is it blackberry calico? Thx ch
Make sure the planting soil is good loamy soil and that the soil is not soggy.
Roots that sit in soggy soil will certainly rot. Your plants may have suffered root rot.
You can trim away the dead plant material and access the planting location and soil conditions.

My blackberry cutting stems are turning black. Could this be from to much water?
It could be too much or too little. You can try cutting them back to green stem.
Not every cutting will take and root, this is why taking numerous cuttings is generally recommended.
