I have an azalea bush planted late March in a raised landscape bed by a professional landscaper. It initially looked great, and bloomed. Now many of the leaves are a bronze/brown color. I don't see any bugs on it. I'm not a master gardener by any means! What do you think is causing the problem? Thanks for your help.
It sounds like a nutrient issue. Give the plant some fertilizer. Also make sure the plant is getting enough water. It needs at least 1-2 inches of water a week.
I have planted a number of azaleas and at least half have developed terminal conditions. The main symptom is whole leaves turning brown (rusty brown). It starts with a leaf or two and just runs through the entire plant until it is dead. Any suggestions of what this may be, what I'm doing wrong, or what can be done to save the plants?
Newly planted azaleas, did they receive enough water to become established.

The branches are black with white scales on them. It is affecting part of 2 bushes in 2 separate locations. There are also spots on the leaves. These are very mature azaleas and I haven't had any problems before now. What might this be and how do I save them? Thanks Melanie
This sounds like a case of Azalea Bark Scale.

They have a green bark looking stuff on the stems. It is killing my plants.
Here are a couple of links that discuss common Azalea problems.
It should help you match up the symptoms and treatment solutions.
Neem Oil is a good treatment, as it works as an insecticide and fungicide.

My azaleas have developed yellow dots on the leaves. The leaves do not turn yellow and fall off, but I am concerned as to what it means about soil quality, etc. Blooms are fine and appear large and in good number. The yellow dots appear later in the season, usually after bloom.
Throughout the year, fungal spots (of various colors) appear on azalea and rhododendron leaves. The diseases are usually minor, only affecting the appearance of the plants. However, severe infection may result in early leaf drop, reducing the general health of the plant. Remove any fallen leaves and keep the foliage dry when watering your azaleas. Fungicide sprays during periods of high humidity will help prevent serious foliage damage. Here is more information: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/plant-problems/disease/plant-leaf-spots.htm
Why are my azalea bush leaves dying? The limbs have become really black and brittle and the leaves are turning yellow and dying.
Azaleas can have a few issues.
Check watering. If to dry in the summer heat it may need more watering. To much water can cause fungus and root rot.
Insects and fungus can be an issue.
I would treat the plant with Neem OIl, this acts as both an insecticide and fungicide.
Here are a few links for you that may help you pinpoint the issue.

I am wondering what is causing this leaf rust looking problem on the azaleas I planted last year. It happened last year as well. We planted two of these about 40 feet away from each other and the one has this problem and the other does not, at least to this extent. I thought the two plants did not make the winter but around June we finally saw some leaves starting and now both plants seem to be leafing out good, but this rusty stuff is showing up again. We live in the woods and the soil originally is very much clay but this area has been the garden for decades so the soil is better but still mostly clay and in the pine forest. Thanks for any ideas.
Orange or rust coloring, especially on the undersides, can be caused from rust fungus and is treated with fungicide. Leaves will normally regrow. Other issues could include pests. Look carefully for any signs of pests, which can be treated with neem oil (also doubles as fungicide).
