Q.Maintaining soft leaf yucca

Zone Leander, Texas | ElmerK34 added on August 24, 2016 | Answered

Is there a way to limit the spread of the leaves? Three of my plants are in a narrow strip between the sidewalk and curb. The strip is covered in river rock. As the plants have grown, the sharp leaves extend into the sidewalk and could be a sharp hazard for walkers or children. Is there a way to blunt the tips of the leaves or to limit their spread?
